2014

Happy New Year! Writing "2014" seems so strange. It seems strange to realize how different I am this year than I was this time last year. I'm sure the same can be said for all of you. When I was younger, time seemed to change things so slowly, but now the time flies by and things don't change as gradually.

I didn't make any new year's resolutions this year. Instead I have a few things that I'm looking forward to.

• Graduating. I am so far behind in school and I am really looking forward to just being done! And I do mean done. Maybe not forever, but for next school year at least I won't be going to college. What a relief! :) 
• Remodeling my room and possibly other parts of my house! 
• Voting! Guys, I can vote! 
• Writing. I don't know how much I will accomplish but I am hoping to get one story finished up and another started by 2015! 
• Baking. I can't wait to try new recipes off my Pinterest boards! :D
• Growing. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen" (2 Peter 3:18). I hope to grow closer to God this year. What a blessing it is to have a Savior who always loves me and never abandons me no matter what I might do to displease Him.
• Forming new friendships and strengthening old ones

There might be a few things I'm not looking forward to as well.... But I'm an optimist by nature so I will end with the list of things I AM looking forward to! :)
