"Watermelon" cupcakes

Hey look! It's the FIRST cupcake post!! :)

Once upon a time.... Long, long ago..... (by which I mean last summer). My sister came to visit and we made watermelon cupcakes! Except, contrary to their name.... they were actually strawberry. And now I'm just being confusing! :P

But hey! I have pictures! :)

Doesn't it look like a little watermelon? 

The cake is a strawberry cake from a box mix with a cup of chocolate chips mixed into it. 

And then we just made plain green frosting for the tops. 

But then we had to make then look even MORE like watermelons! We put green watermelon stripes on them using sprinkles. (My sister is the master of sprinkle stripes by the way :))

And then they were all done!! :)
